PreCanSkate - A program for young skaters 3-6 years of age new to skating or unable to skate on their own, learning to skate in a fun and playful environment (30 minute classes)
CanSkate - A program for skaters 3+ years of age looking to learn the basics of skating, who can already stand, skate forwards, and move backwards on their own. Skaters 7+ that have never skated before should register for CanSkate, however skaters 3-6 years of age that have never skated before should register for PreCanSkate (45 minute classes)
CanPowerSkate - A program for skaters 5-10 years of age who can skate forwards, skate backwards, and stop. They will learn basic skating skills in a power skating environment. Full hockey or ringette equipment required. (45 minute classes)
Junior Academy - A transition program for skaters passed stage 2 of the CanSkate program to learn the basics of figure skating, while continuing to learn the stage 3-6 CanSkate skills (1 hour classes with 15 minute off-ice training) (2 classes per week recommended)
StarSkate - A program for skaters passed stage 5 of the CanSkate program to learn how to figure skate. Skaters learn dance, skills, free skate, and interpretive skating. Skaters will be progressively tested and will have the opportunity to compete throughout the season (group and private lessons 2-3 days/week including off-ice training)
